Mr. L. Hiew

Leong  Yoon Hiew is an NHS Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery, Swansea.  He also practices at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport and Singleton hospital, Swansea.

Mr Hiew graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom in 1992. He completed his basic surgical training in Scotland and embarked on his plastic surgical training in several major teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom, including Leeds, Manchester, Chester, Liverpool and Swansea. During the latter part of his training, Mr Hiew completed a fellowship in breast reconstructive surgery and breast aesthetics in Manchester. He was appointed as Consultant Plastic Surgeon to the Welsh Centre for Plastic Surgery in 2007 and elected to the UK Specialist Register for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

His private work includes a wide variety of cosmetic surgery. He has a specialist interest in cosmetic breast surgery which forms a significant portion of his everyday practice.

Mr Hiew holds weekly consultation clinics at the Sancta Maria Hospital.
